Services Offered to Siblings
Search for Sibling
The registry provides services to siblings who have been separated through adoption under the following circumstances:

Adult adopted person searching for a sibling who was also adopted

Adult adopted person searching for a sibling who was not adopted

Biological sibling searching for a sibling who was adopted
You must be 21 years of age and the sibling for whom you are searching must be at least 18 years of age. Upon application you must send in 2 forms of identification: a copy of your birth certificate and a photo ID.
Complete the “Request for Contact With Sibling” form. Please address the following questions at the bottom portion of the form. If you need more space, you may use the back of the paper or write your letter of introduction on a separate sheet of paper.
- A physical description of yourself
- Your current family situation (married, single, children, etc)
- Your occupation
- Your motivation for searching
- What do you hope to gain from searching and making contact?
- What are your expectations?
- Provide some information about your relationship with your parents and other family members. Are they aware that you are conducting a search?
- Any other information you wish to include about yourself
Please return this form along with a payment for $300.00, check or money order made payable to FAMILIES FIRST or Visa/Mastercard. Most searches are completed within 3-6 months. Please be aware that the fee for conducting a search is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome.
